Alias is among the brands of I-MADE, the Italian design exhibition of excellence

Updated: Apr 14, 2020

Alias is forty years old and celebrates its history as a protagonist of Made in Italy design by participating in I-MADE (Italian Manifacture, Art and Design Exhibition), the exhibition project curated by Giulio Cappellini that collects in the spaces of the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea, at London, the excellence of Italian manufacturing. From 19 to 22 September, coinciding with the London Design Festival, I-MADE tells the uniqueness of Italian design, production quality, innovation and creativity through the pieces of the most significant companies of the Italian territory.

Set up with a clear inspirational intent, the show also highlights another unique aspect of Italian design: passion. Alias participates in this project with an ethereal installation created by Andrea Sanguineti, brand manager and design director. A cloud of iconic seats magically floats in space, thanks to pultruded carbon wires. Spaghetti chair by Giandomenico Belotti, bigframe and frame stool by Alberto Meda, laleggera in the chair and stool variant by Riccardo Blumer are proposed in the total black variant. The clean lines and the technological research of all the pieces are at the service of stylistic lightness, that which has allowed the company to create innovative and timeless furniture collections.
